NOT Another Drag Show

12 July 2002

YMS Music Centre

Here's what the audience had to say:

[Edmond] It was really GOOD! I thought Sam was a little nervous at the start, but that's only normal. After a while, he became very comfy on stage, and just stole the show. The audience loved him!! His jokes, songs, etc ... everything. It was just pure fun! No complaints ... no hiccups. Despite Kok Wei forgetting the lyrics to "Reflection", it was still a good performance. And I found the audience really supportive and encouraging too. Once again, CONGRATS!

[George] Great job! You guys are really talented and the show was great fun. Not to worry about the mistakes. Everyone makes them and they make you all the more loveable. By the way, when's the Broadway opening?

[Cyrus] I am very proud of you guys and I think all of you have done a wonderful show despite the little hiccups here and there. I love you all.

[Joseph] You guys were FABULOUS!!! Most of the audience felt that it was definitely worth the $12! I think everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good laugh that night. And I hope you guys did too.

[Ron] Sam ... many of the people I spoke to likened you to Kumar and in fact I dare say yours was more non-PC and hence even more lethally funny!

[Et] I truly enjoyed the performance and had such a sense of pride that I belonged to SH, a fellowship brimming with talent and most of all, love. It takes a lot of love to give so much of yourself to the show and to the people. Bravo and thank you.

[Victor] Sam, you are really good in your jokes, it helps me to exercise my abs for the entire night. Love the songs that you sang that night, especially "I Feel Pretty"! Wei, you are really cute! Although you forgot the lyrics for one of the song, you still remained cool for the performance. Alvin, I told you that you could do it right??? You were great that night and hope to hear you sing more often. Alan, I like the way you projected your voice for "On My Own". Great voice and great performance. Gerald, you have a powerful and charming voice, I like "You're Still You". Sing more!

[Arthur] Ok. Next destination where ah? Esplanade? National Stadium? Sydney Opera House?
